EPDM Slang drain connectors are used to connect bituminous roof membranes to rainwater drains. The slightly conical-shaped tang facilitates installation in rainwater pipes. The perforated flange facilitates adhesion with bituminous membranes, while a series of rings positioned along the tang ensure a hermetic seal if water rises in the downpipe. The elastic material from which they are made guarantees a long-lasting seal. The knurling at the top of the tang ensures a perfect fit of the Leaf-Excluders and Leaf-Excluders to the drain connector. They have excellent resistance to deterioration caused by the sun, ozone and other atmospheric or chemical agents normally present. They are perfectly compatible with prefabricated bituminous membranes such as APP and SBS and with coated bitumen. For maximum performance, sandwich laying between two layers of membrane is recommended. To improve adhesion, the drain connectors can be pre-coated with a light coat of primer.
