Speier drain connectors are used to connect roof membranes with rainwater drains placed close to walls and can be positioned either horizontally or vertically. The special diameters with which they are produced make them compatible with corner connecting elements fitted with watertight gaskets. The flange is slightly inclined in relation to the tang to make it easier to install the drain connector on a slope, and the elastic material from which they are made ensures that they remain watertight over time. They have excellent resistance to deterioration caused by the sun, ozone and other atmospheric or chemical agents normally present. The elasticity of the raw material from which they are made allows for excellent flexibility even at low temperatures. The large, rough, perforated flange ensures perfect adhesion with bituminous sheaths and has numerous holes to allow mechanical fixing to the slab and vertical wall. The drain connector is perfectly compatible with APP and SBS type prefabricated bituminous membranes and with coated bitumen. For maximum performance, sandwich laying between two layers of membrane is recommended. To improve adhesion, the drain connector can be pre-coated with a light coat of primer.
