The function of the BIT reticulated chamfer is to eliminate the 90° angle when laying the bituminous membrane between the horizontal surface and vertical walls. Before laying the profile, the edges must be thoroughly cleaned of any deposits. The profile is laid dry along the perimeters and is compatible with bituminous membranes. Next to corners and near drains, it should be cut at 45°.
