The Mignon flared corner fittings are used to connect waterproof roof membranes with the rainwater drains on balconies placed close to low walls. The 345 mm long tang allows water to drain away from vertical walls, thanks also to the anti-drip ribs on the lower part. The special funnel shape minimises the size of the hole required for water run-off, thus allowing for an excellent aesthetic result of the finished balcony floor. Mignon flared drain connectors are suitable for horizontal drains. The elastic material from which they are produced guarantees a long-lasting seal. The rectangular cross-section of the tang allows rational and rapid water drainage and the flange is slightly inclined with respect to the tang to facilitate the installation of the drain connector on a slope. They have excellent resistance to deterioration caused by the sun, ozone and other atmospheric or chemical agents normally present. The wide ribbed flange ensures perfect adhesion with bituminous sheaths. The drain connector is perfectly compatible with APP and SBS type prefabricated bituminous membranes and with coated bitumen. For maximum performance, sandwich laying between two layers of membrane is recommended. To improve adhesion, the drain connector can be pre-coated with a light coat of primer.
