REGULATORS for gaseous fluids such as LPG are used to adjust the pressure of the torches to weld bituminous membranes.
The body is entirely made of ZAMAK 15 (Zn + Al + Mg + Cu), while outside there is an hydrocarbon-resistant elastomer membrane. To ensure its longevity, we recommend fully closing the valve, thereby setting the membrane in the stand-by position at the end of the job.
There are also models with a safety valve (excess flow) that is tripped if the rubber hose is torn, explodes or simply comes off.
It instantly turns off the gas supply upstream, thereby protecting the operator.
Regulators normally supplied are with Italian connection IT 25.

ANTIRETURN VALVE
The non-return valve is designed to prevent backfiring by using gases subject to this eventuality. We recommend mounting the non-return valve at a distance of 100 cm from the regulator/cylinder.
