TPE Ermetic drain connectors perform the function of connecting roofing membranes with rainwater drains. The slightly conical shape of the tang allows for fast and simple installation in rainwater drain pipes. The elastic material they are made of ensures long-term water tightness. The top part of the tang has a series of serrations that ensure the leaf-excluder or gravel-excluder is firmly attached to the drain connector.
They provide excellent resilience to deterioration caused by the sun, ozone and other weather agents or chemicals normally found in the atmosphere. The elasticity of the material allows an excellent flexibility even at low temperatures, which ensures mechanical and physical properties are maintained over time.
The perforated flange promotes adhesion with bituminous sheaths, while the two rings along the tang ensure an anti-surge airtight seal in the event of water rising along the downpipe.
The connector is 100% compatible with APP and SBS prefabricated bituminous membranes and bituminous coats. A sandwich installation between the two layers of membrane is recommended to achieve top performance. To improve adhesion, the connector can be pre-coated with a light coat of primer.
