In the centre of Ceggia, within a private residential context, a redevelopment project has transformed an existing terrace into a modern and functional outdoor space. Covering an area of approximately 42 square meters, the project involved the installation of porcelain stoneware tiles, with the aim of giving the terrace a renewed identity defined by quality and long-term durability.
One of the key challenges of the project was working on a pre-existing surface covered with a bituminous membrane and characterized by variable slopes. To meet these technical requirements, Impertek’s Lunar supports with Tile head were selected for their versatility and ease of adjustment.
Used here with a 4 mm thickness and an adjustable height range from 100 to 180 mm, Lunar Supports proved to be the ideal solution for ensuring a quick, precise and safe installation. Thanks to its dual adjustment system, both from the top and the base, installers could easily manage the different height levels across the terrace and adapt to the millimetric variations of the surface, without slowing down the installation process.
A standout feature is the QuickOn system, which gives the head of the support wide compatibility with different surface finishes. In this case, it was used to install ceramic tiles, but the system is also compatible with stone slabs and decking, making it an extremely adaptable solution for a wide range of outdoor applications.
Another element that enhanced the installation was the revolutionary square base of the Lunar supports; an exclusive feature that eliminated the need to trim the base along the terrace perimeter. This detail significantly reduced waste, optimised installation time and ensured a precise finish along the walls.
The final result is a visually impactful, stable and long-lasting outdoor area. It stands as a concrete example of how Impertek’s innovative solutions can simplify on-site work while, at the same time, enhancing the aesthetic and functionality of outdoor spaces.
